Gorvachove, Keonjhar, 23 September 2024

So I am back
Into the dungeon of longings
And a door closed
behind a façade of smiles
Winter will soon arrive;
monsoon has died
Sailboats appear as raiders-
White clouds;
once laden with rain
Now mock the sun,
And sunshine waits gently
Till the chrysanthemums arrive
And perhaps when
Poems seize zephyrs
When the winds bring in the shivers
The songs of amour
On distant lips
So I am back
Knocking
Knocking hard;
This cold thought castles me in
Tenderly it chimes
A September night
Gently wrapped
Around my eyes!
