Like the infallible Commandments,
Love is the eternal river that flows –
We mustn’t remain thirsty but drink:
The gurgling transparency that calls.
Not swords, not castles, not statues,
Nor garden grandeur, nor gallop but
Only love is the glue that holds us all,
Together like lost letters in a bottle:
Sons of Adam, o’ daughters of Eve –
Drink the magic waters of love in awe.
