A star that shone
in the north sky of our
School
A hand that blessed
all the students from
far and near
An amazing persona
who stood firm at all odds
An enforced camaraderie
of our school time
built by him
And a one-man army who
taught us discipline,
the values of school life
the grace of scout activities.
Everything is lost now
in the five elements of nature…
Everywhere I can see
a huge void…
No more I will get
a voice message
so soothing,
so warming.
We have lost our
Revered Sir!
Dear Sir, where
are you now?
I know, you have
entered into a vast space
from where nobody returns
ever!
Yet, I know,
He is watching us
He has become
a bright star
in the distant sky
Watching us,
Wishing us,
Greeting us, with
His unique slogans
that he used
to say in our school days.
With the silent waves
of the blue sea
I stand still
under the starless sky
reminiscing the golden
times spent with
my class teacher…
I bid him adieu
with a heavy heart
My eyes flooding
with tears
promising only to
carry forward his legacy
in this world
of uncertainties!!!
