Weary at the end of my life by chasing thee,
I now pursue a refuge in my solitude.
Baffled by the unfinished race,
I now embrace the ultimate phase.
By chasing thy footprints in a way different
I find myself in a dilapidated state
Everywhere I can see my image:
Withered, Ragged, and Scratched!
Nowhere I can find you!
Where are you now?
I can only trace some mocking faces
Those chase me, they tease me, and many a times I am beguiled by their fancy.
Oh, they will drive me insane!
I am running behind some illusions
Now I urge everyone,
Abandon me from this unknown contest
Let me avail an eternal rest
From this game of hide and seek.
Let my ruined spirit excavate joy in loneliness.
On the lush green mattress of a dreamy island,
Let me bury this untold misery of ages!
I think we could meet in the next life sans such a craze!
