Being caught in the web of an absurd planet
I struggle to get respite from the mundane states.
Repetition of known spectacles no longer tempts me
I desire to merge in the holy spirit of divine beings.
No more the earthly things initiate interest in me
Shattered in the so-called theatre of life, I bleed profusely.
Being entangled in an intricate quagmire
I struggle to unmask the demons of the future.
But I am propelled to be a part of this mad race
Alas! I couldn’t exit from this never ending chase!
Sans any interest, here I aimlessly play
Nobody knows how long I will stay!
Like an automaton, I am tied to this boring routine
I pretend, I laugh, I function as a machine!
In this cobweb, I wish to flee
Oh, God, let me be free!
Allow me to wear the wings of elation
Let me renounce this mortal possession…
