I am silent through the years
I am harassed, thrashed and thrown away
Still, I am silent
I have been deprived of my basic rights
I am brutally assaulted by thee
Still I can’t fight
I am silent
I wail, I protest, I scream
Nobody is there
I am silent
I walk with tied hands
I was dragged like a creature
But I cannot reject
Coz I am a woman!!!
I cannot owe rights to my own body
You have taken it away
Yet, I am silent
I can’t protest
To this barbaric deeds, I have been muted
I was silent in the past
I am silent in the present
I will be silent in future
I can do only one thing
Silently, I can wait
For your death!!!
