Upon us, shadows of autumn
In our eyes we have seen the moons
Of many summers and winters
A dark season shall engulf us
We must dwell on the wings of light
Our souls stirring with calendars
Of memories and those blank pages
Our feet searching for puddles of
Sudden rains with a hint of romance
