Why do cyclones always come in the night?
When it is the darkest, and you are unprepared-
They strike you in the middle of your brain:
Creating a hole all through to abyss of your soul-
Turning and twisting with a primordial fear:
It keeps coming like a recurring nightmare –
When you stand for million years like a fakir –
On the door separating wakefulness and slumber:
And struggle to dream for the light of dawn.
